Brand identity, marketing site, chat widget

Brand and website for an AI support agent made for online shops. We created the identity, then designed the marketing site and the chat widget shoppers talk to.

The challenge

AI support is a crowded, sceptical market. Shop owners have been burned by chatbots that guess, so Hollis had to look trustworthy rather than futuristic, and prove itself in the first scroll.

The approach

Having run online shops ourselves, we positioned Hollis as a colleague, not a robot: a name, a calm voice and a brand built from speech bubbles. The site lets visitors ask the agent a real question within seconds of landing.

Marketing site

A homepage with a personality

Glossy speech bubbles, a live demo in the hero and proof in numbers. The page answers a sceptical shop owner's questions in the order they ask them, then lets them try Hollis on their own shop.

User flow

Know when to hand over

Every conversation follows one rule: answer when confident, hand over when not. The flow shows both paths, and how the summary travels with the customer to a person.

Two bubbles, one H
Identity

A colleague, not a chatbot

The mark joins two speech bubbles into an H: one conversation, someone on each side. Warm violet and peach replace the neon gradients most AI brands share, and the voice is a helpful shop assistant, not a machine.
Brand in use

From 24 pixels to full screen

The identity has to work at 24 pixels in a chat launcher and full-bleed in an ad. These three pieces show it at both ends.

Ask it anything, on the homepage

The hero is the product: visitors can ask the agent about a demo shop before they've scrolled. The rest of the page answers the doubts in order: is it accurate, what does it cost, and what happens when it's stuck.

Chat widget

Proof in the first scroll

Every answer shows where it came from: the order, the returns policy or the size guide. When a question needs a person, Hollis says so and hands over the conversation with the details attached.

Pricing

You pay when it works

Pricing is per conversation Hollis resolves, so shops only pay for answers that landed. On mobile, the demo becomes the first thing you see.
Big enough for a billboard
Out of home

Big enough for a billboard

The same violet, peach and speech bubbles carry from the chat launcher to a billboard, so a shop owner who sees the ad recognises the widget straight away.
From widget to agent inbox
All screens

From widget to agent inbox

The brand carries from the 24-pixel launcher to the agent inbox and analytics, so shop owners and their customers see the same friendly product.
Design system

Warm by design

A rounded sans, violet and peach instead of the usual neon gradients, and icons drawn with soft corners to match the speech-bubble mark.

Where conversations happen

Shoppers ask on their phones, often outdoors and in a hurry; shop owners review conversations from the back office.
